Students must wear their P.E. uniform to school on their designated P.E.days. 

Students are not permitted to wear their P.E. uniform on days when we do not have P.E. unless instructed to do so by Coach Sasso. Check the school calendar to see what day we are on.

RECESS- 9:20- 9:40  (Please bring birthday celebration treats to school during recess time.)

Folders: Please keep folders in the book bag and sign behavior sheet.

​

Communications Folder: Communications folders will be used as a link between home and school.

Please look out for papers from the Franklin Academy Office that need to be signed and returned.

Please return the signed forms promptly.

Graded student work needs to be signed and returned for student files is included. Students will be expected to return all graded tests, quizzes, and classwork signed by a parent or guardian. If your child's work is not returned, your child will not be permitted to bring tests home and test grades will need to be viewed on Power School only.  Student work with errors may be corrected and returned.

When the teacher feels that a student would benefit from extra practice or more challenging work, it will be sent home in this folder. Assignments are individualized work and will be expected to be completed and returned as soon as possible. These assignments are not prescribed to every student. If the work is not completed in a timely manner, a parent-teacher conference will be requested.

Accelerated Readers: School wide Mandatory Activity

Your child is expected to read 2-3 books on their level at home per week. You may use any book that you look up on the AR Book Finder below and has a quiz number. Look up a book you have at home and label it with the AR Quiz #. This will help your child locate the book's correct quiz when taking a test in school. Please review the books before they take the tests! Taking too many tests may lower your child's accuracy score. (It reflects the number of correct answers.) Each child will have their own individual AR Goal. We're happy to accept any books that your family has outgrown to build our classroom library.

 

TIP:   Help your child to learn their login: first initial of first name and four letters of last name.

                       Password is student's initials. (i.e. thami  password: th)

No Early Dismissals after 1:45 PM. (10:45am on Early Release)

You can go to the "Attendance Reporting" tab on the school's website when your child is absent to report it.

(You must send an e-mail to get the absence excused.)
